Dean's Fellows awarded national scholarships and fellowships

  • Prathm Juneja (Class of 2019) was named a Truman Scholar and Rhodes Scholar. Juneja graduated from the University of Notre Dame with dual degrees in Computer Science and Political Science. He is now completing graduate studies in Social Data Science at the University of Oxford. 
  • Jeremy Cappello Lee (Class of 2018) was named a Fulbright Scholar and Yenching Scholar. Capello Lee graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Philosophy and East Asian Studies, followed by graduate degrees in Finance and Politics at Yonsei University (Seoul, South Korea). He will pursue graduate studies in Economics and Management at Yenching Academy (Beijing, China). 
  • Rebecca Blais (Class of 2018) was named a Truman Scholar. Blais graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Political Science and now serves as the Executive Director of Bluebonnet Data. 
  • Sara Abdel-Rahim (Class of 2017) was named a Fulbright Scholar. Abdel-Rahim graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Political Science and Arabic and conducted her Fulbright-sponsored research with migrants in Greece. She now serves as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton.
  • Emily Mediate (Class of 2015) was named a Rhodes Scholar. Mediate graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Africana Studies and Pre-Health Studies, followed by graduate degrees in Global Governance and Public Policy from the University of Oxford. She now serves as the Chief of Staff of the American Flood Coalition. 
  • Alexis Palá (Class of 2015) was named a Fulbright Scholar. Palá graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Anthropology and conducted her Fulbright-sponsored research in Chile. She completed her graduate studies in Public Policy at the University of Cambridge and currently serves as a Research Associate at Y Lab. 
  • Alex Coccia (Class of 2014) was named a Truman Scholar and Rhodes Scholar. Coccia graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Africana Studies and Peace Studies, followed by a master's degree in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Politics at the University of Oxford. 
  • Elizabeth Davis (Class of 2012) was named a Truman Scholar. Davis graduated from the University of Notre Dame's Program of Liberal Studies (PLS), followed by graduate studies at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. She now serves as an Investment Associate at Anthemis. 
  • Claire Brown (Class of 2011) was named a National Science Foundation Fellow. Brown graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Anthropology and completed her Ph.D. in Anthropology at the State University of New York at Binghamton. She is now a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Galway, Ireland.
